What I Believe

I think it'll probably be a good idea to post my testimony once a month, because it will be cool to watch how it grows ;)

I know that my Redeemer lives. Jesus Christ is my Savior, and he has done so much for me. He died for me, and makes it possible for me to return to my Father in Heaven. He is also my best friend. He has carried me through thick and thin. I know that I am a child of God, and that by following his plan for me I will be able to grow beyond my imagination. I know that as we trust him, he will guide us home.

I am so grateful for the Holy Ghost. It anchors me. Whenever I need a friend, I know that I can call upon the Comfortor. The Spirit is the source of my testimony and the peace I have. I have prayed to know that these things are true, and the Spirit truly has spoken peace to my heart and told me of its surety.

I know that God answers prayers. It may not be in the way we want it, or as quickly as we wish, but he hears every word and will answer. No matter what mistakes you've made, He will be there for you.

I have a testimony of the Book of Mormon. Truly, it's words are true. They have brought me so much closer to Christ. Along with the Bible, I am able to find comfort in times of need.

I believe in the sanctity of marraige and of the family. My highest joys and best friends are in my family. I know that that is God's plan, that families are His organization.

I am so grateful for the Atonement, and to know that I don't need to do everything, to be perfect. I am so grateful that Christ made it possible for me to be resurrected and be forgiven. I am also grateful to know that no matter what pain I am feeling, Christ my older brother knows exactly how I feel.

I love this gospel and I love my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ!
